
MATCHA PESTO PASTA

Recommended Matcha Grade: 1) Culinary Grade Matcha 2) Premium Grade Matcha
Serves: 4
INGREDIENTS
Pesto Paste:
- 1 cup basil
- ½ cup parsley
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Matcha powder
- 2 tbsp walnuts
- 1 tbsp pine nuts
- 1 zest lemon
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Pasta:
- 1 pack fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup peas
PREPARATION
- Cook pasta in boiling salted water until it turns soft. Drain the water out of the pasta and put it in a pan.
- Combine all the pesto ingredients into a blender. Mix, scraping down sides occasionally, until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Blanch peas in boiling water for a few minutes then drain.
- Add pesto to cooked pasta and stir well. Mix through peas and serve.
